Rebecca is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario college of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). For the past 10 years she has worked in a variety of Clinical and Social Work positions, offering clinical support to adolescents, young adults and adults. Rebecca uses a collaborative approach building a strong therapeutic alliance and understanding her client’s goals and desired focus in order to help them create the change they want to see in their world. Rebecca’s clinical work is guided by a wide variety of evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, Narrative Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Areas of specialization include anxiety, depression, addressing trauma from the past or present, with a particular focus on health-related events. "In addition to my work with my clients, I enjoy travelling, kickboxing and working out at the gym. Curling up with a good book and cup of tea is my favorite part of the day, and I will read anything with words, but particularly love a good mystery novel.”
