Andrew is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. He holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Toronto.
Andrew’s work is grounded in trauma-informed care, with a focused clinical emphasis on helping individuals process and recover from traumatic experiences. He primarily utilizes Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) as core modalities. His approach is strongly informed by neuroscience, with attention to how trauma impacts the brain, nervous system, and patterns of belief. By integrating this understanding into treatment, Andrew supports clients in building emotional regulation, restoring a sense of safety, and creating lasting neural change.
Andrew works with adults experiencing trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, complicated grief, and stress-related concerns. His approach balances depth and structure — helping clients process underlying wounds while also developing practical tools to manage daily life. He places strong emphasis on nervous system regulation, psychological safety, and pacing therapy in a way that feels respectful and sustainable.
With over 10 years of hospice experience, Andrew has developed particular expertise in grief and bereavement work, supporting individuals through loss, anticipatory grief, and life transitions. He also brings 10 years of experience in the education system as both an elementary classroom teacher and Special Education Resource Teacher, providing him with valuable insight into navigating school systems, supporting families, and understanding the broader systemic stressors that exist.
Andrew is committed to creating a collaborative, non-judgmental therapeutic space where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered in their healing process.
Outside of his professional life, Andrew enjoys playing hockey, running, and spending time with his family.
