Bita is a registered psychotherapist with the college of registered psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and member of Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP).

She has a Master of Psychology and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering. She is a certified CBT practitioner and has an eclectic approach in psychotherapy. She uses multiple therapeutic methods such as DBT, mindfulness, somatic experiencing and SFT based on individual’s needs and goals with a trauma-informed and strength-based lens.
She has worked with diverse populations, cultures and ethnicities and mostly worked with adults and adolescents. Her work includes but not limited to anxiety, depression, life transition, loss and grief, trauma, and self-growth. Her aim is to support individuals to gain deeper insight about their life experiences and through their own creative ways get in touch with the inner joy of being in the here and now.

“Walking on the path of yoga for my self-growth and practicing and teaching energy healing helped me to realize how powerful and at the same time vulnerable the human nature can be and how embracing our vulnerability is the key to growth. I believe life experiences teach us that everything in the physical existence is changing constantly, life is dynamic, and it is up to us to learn how to dance with the rhythm of the life and bring joy and light from within and illuminate our way in the “wonderland” of life.”

In addition to my professional life, I do enjoy long walks, watching stand-up comedy, and writing poems occasionally. Here, I would like to share one with you:

Close your eyes
And be still for a while
Ask yourself “Who am I?”
By and by
When the calmness is high
In the emptiness of your sky
The inner whisper will reply …”
